Scorpion system on the rollers

I know a few exhaust threads have been bouncing around on here recently but i had my M5 on the rollers this weekend (320bhp) and i thought id add a little video clip of one of the runs.
Not that impressed with the RR set up they had there but nonetheless it didnt spoil the noise
Youll need quicktime installed...

Golf Gti Mk2 with a little bit of Audi 20V turbo under the bonnet - gone and left a lasting impression in my mind!

Audi S2 Avant - not quite normal

Re: Scorpion system on the rollers

Yeah but you get the general idea!
Got to be one of the worst dyno places ive been to.....
Would only run it on the wideband if you asked and this was a mainly turbo day full of Saabs...
RPM and therefore torque calculations were completely off......
No boost logging for the turbo cars....
7.5:1 AFR was apparently fine on a Turbo Saab
Mine was running 13:1 AFR on full load and this was apparently lean
Wasnt that confident in their ability tbh and this is supposedy a renouned TVR specialist.

Pete.

Re: Scorpion system on the rollers

Arsetec? I went there to enquire about having my race car corner-weighted and set up on the rollers.

They seemed incompetent though so I left!

They haven't really put that ratchet strap around the back seat to hold the car down have they??

Have actually seen this done many times before althuogh they usually have the straps through the front doors and in front of the B-posts.
Dont think my Alcantara upholstery will stop 320bhp
