The Ring will be open during December!

For the first year, the Nordschleife will be open during December - From the official site (www.nuerburgring.de):

3rd Dec 2005, 9:00-16:00 until 1st Jan 2006.

New years day, anyone??!

SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER, OF COURSE!
It will remain closed if there's snow on the track.
This is a mountainous region and the weather is likely to be poor. And, er, it's snowing there today.

Dont forget your studded tyres...
I cant think of a more godforsaken place to be in mid winter.
The weather is grim from November to March & sometimes April too.

Definately an aquired taste !

Ah, so there is a time of year after all in which those understeering "quattro" things rule the 'Ring......

Darren:

I know, I know, I've only just come back from a lucky sunny cold weekend there!

I reckon there's opportunity for the odd cold, dry day which are perfect conditions for my Tuuuuuurrrrrrrrboooo!

See you there, then?

Just how many trips are you making these days.
You must have been there as many times as me now..albeit over a shorter time period.
