I have finally found the European Quarter Mile...

The only thing harder to find than Nessie and Bigfoot is the European Quarter Mile (could be a metric race I imagine). Attending are the 127 people across the pond who actually care about such a race. The BMW is just a bit fast. LOVE the sound of that turbo:

This has absolutely zero to do with being anal Derek. The subforums are there for a reason, you know.

Re: I have finally found the European Quarter Mile...

I love all the M5's.... but if your in the E60 M5 forum the chances are pretty high that your interest lies with the E60 M5...

Re: I have finally found the European Quarter Mile...

My humble apologies for not being more attentive to the subforums. I wasn't sure if it was a 7 series or a 5, although I knew it wasn't an E60. I won't let this happen again.

Re: I have finally found the European Quarter Mile...

There are several of them around. A while back I've seen a E34 M5 with over 1100bhp and there are also several M3's around with over 1000bhp. The beating those old engines can take is just amazing. Time will tell wether the S85 engine can also live upto the M legacy.
