It certainly does!

I changed my thermostat today, bled it all up and went for a drive. The difference was huge. No more horrible flat spots, the temperature now stay in the middle where it should be. Much much smoother power delivery everywhere.

Unfortunately while changing the stat the drain plug on the rad snapped. Lucky I had a spare rad from my old 3.6 so I chucked that in.

Can I get a new drain plug? I can just about get the old one out.

Anyway, point is this.....make sure your water temperature is correct!

Since owning my car the water temp has never gone over half way!
and that includes sitting in traffic every single day at some point of my journey...

Are you gonna dyno the 3.8 again?

I wished we'd done mine with the chip and without, would have been good to see the difference.

Alan, I wil remove that chip from your car next time I see you. rev limit is simply too high.

Plug is listed in ETK # 17 11 1 719 384. If you can extract without further damage you should be able to replace.

Lets not start parting the 3.6 for 3.8 unless you are going to break her.

Rev delimit is not fatal unless you are not going to watch the tach yourself like in the old days before electronics.
