BMW Insurance

My car is still under the BMW warranty. Has anyone else got this and what is it like. Im considering renewing it again next year,im waiting for my policy booklet which will no doubt tell me what is covered. Looking back at receipts the car has had almost anyhting that has failed, replaced under this warrenty. I know its expensive but is it worth it???

I have one - wouldn;t have bought the car without it and will certainly be renewing it.

Re: BMW Insurance

if you still have the warranty, its much cheaper to renew, rather than to buy a warranty without one. In other words, if you dont renew, then realize you want one again it will cost a lot more.

Also continuing the warranty will really up the cars value

Does that mean it's possible to buy back in to the BMW warranty scheme?

i suppose it matters where you are as well. From what I understand its much harder to get a warranty on a car again (if its even possible) across the pond, where as over here in the US you can get a warranty for just about anything

Re: BMW Insurance

Current BMW warranty on an E34 M5....
Think along the lines of HENS TEETH and you cant go far wrong.

Is it worth having & keeping to improve resale ?
Im not so sure, unless the buyer has previous exposure to M5 who can then quantify the premium against a big failure of something like an engine or a couple of dampers which I believe are covered..

Worth having imho.
