Powerflex Bushes Info

I will be fitting these along with my Koni/H&R Kit.

Looking upon everything I have realised there is no need to pop the balljoints of the upper and lower arms.

Just remove the whole leg, hack saw out the old bush and the Powerflex ones will simply G-Clamp in nice and easy. If the balljoints to go in the future you can remove the bush by simple cutting through the arm and re use so your money aint wasted.

Ive used Powerflex bushes on the E30 with excellent results. The only bush IM not sure about is th subframe one. However I had a chat with Powerflex today and they are working on making it quieter and so that it transmits less vibration.

Once these things are fitted its unlikley youll ever need to change them.

ONce tests have been done you can get the powerflex through myself.

Re: Powerflex Bushes Info

Not trying to be a spazzy, but WhereTF are the upper arms ?? I can only see front and rear track arms in the front suspension on my car. Real oem only shows f&r lower arms as far as I can see.

Cheers,
Phil.

Re: Powerflex Bushes Info

Thanks Brian, the e34net info makes it clear which arm it is, but I dont see how it should be called the upper arm as it mounts below the wheel hub. ach well not the first time a component has a misleading name.

cheers.
