Post Wheel Refurbishment

Do wheel refurbishment companies 'straighten' out alloy wheels?

I have the newer style M5 alloys on my 1991 E34, and there is a distinct wobble on most of the wheels when viewed from the front, spinning on a ramp. I think this is what is causing noticeable vibration in the car at 80 90 Km/h, and again, but less severe at around 140 Km/h. At least, I hope that is what it is, otherwise I have another unknown problem

Is it is possible to make the wheels completely concentric again, and does anyone know of a wheel refurbishment company in the Màlaga area?

hi there Big Mac

I have had alloy wheels refurbished in malaga by a company called " Llantacars ", thet are in the poligono santa barbara, near the porsche - Saab dealer y believe, i have never been there personally as the wheels where sent there by the Fiat dealer when i was having my car other car repaired.

The wheel where quite badly kerbed and bent and where returned looking reasonably straight.

I will try to find out there phone number and exact address.

Regards

Joe,

Thanks for the info - it enabled me to track down an advert. of LLantacars in the suplemento de Motor En Mano (April edition). Their telephone number is 95 210 55 19 in case you hit the kerb again!

Now all I need to do is track down another advert. I remember reading concerning windscreen repairs (to see if I can get rid of a ground-in blemish where the wiper has scraped along the windscreen).
