Looking for a nice E34 Driver

All -- I'm looking to get back into an E34 M5, looking for a nice quality driver. There's not too much showing up on craigs or otherwise, please let me know if you run across anything decent! I'm not picky with regard to color, etc. THANKS!

Not sure where you are looking - I just bought a 1991 E34 M5, taken in on trade by a Minnesota dealer. I was also looking at another 1991 in the San Francisco area (black on black) with 108K. Not sure where you are located, but this one can be seen at Used Cars for sale in Pleasanton, CA | Palace Auto Center. I called and talked to Ray about it.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I've been looking through Craigslist, the usual forums, and Cars.com / AutoTrader. How did you find yours?

As nice as a 3.8 would be, I don't think I could wrap my head around a RHD

I was looking at several online sources -
Bring a Trailer just sold a 1991 with 14k miles - for $68k
Autotrader - shows 2 right now, including a 1993 3.8L
Cargurus - shows 4 right now, including the California one

Are you in the US?

Yes -- I'm in NY, but happy to ship for a good car. The autotrader one looks nice (less the wheels) but is a bit out of my price range. The interior of the Palace one is nice -- but the rear suspension is sitting loooooow!

The one at Palace seems to be a nice car - rear suspension was replaced with Bilstein (SLS deleted), and appears to be about the same height as mine. I spoke to Ray about it, he e-mailed me a 3rd party inspection report.

Almost forgot - I was also looking on eBay. There are 2 on there right now, a 1991 in Canada (seller says he can help import), and a white 1991 in Los Angeles (kinda high miles)

Search term "bmw m5 1991".

I'm also looking for a phone number for a 1992 (silver over dove grey) I was looking at in NY. Here it is:
Michael Cannillo 917-620-8158. He was moving, and might have sold it to his mechanic - I spoke to him about this car late last year. Maybe give that a try, too.

Thank you for the lead! Unfortunately, Mike already sold the car -- but I found pics, and that one was nice! My '91 e34 was red/black -- I'd love to try dove interior this time. The eBay one's I'm a little meh on -- the white one is gorgeous, but I'm looking to keep it under 125k miles and the Canadian one, while cheap, doesn't sit right in my gut -- something about the engine compartment. These are all great ideas though -- thank you for the help!
