20" Alpinas for E34 M5

I,m sure this has probably been asked before:

I am considering buying a set of 20"Alpinas' off an E39 in the bay area, for my E34 M5. Will the offset be a problem and is the lug pattern the same.
Will 285's fit on the back of an E34 with no fender mods

Thanks

Wheels from an E39 will have a larger centerbore (74mm vs. 72.5mm). 285's will not fit without modification.

^The 20" rims won´t fit either the 285 either the center bore and offset.
