E34 M5 HT Leads

Getting v.occasional misfire c. 2,000 rpm
but this happening in the dry so suspect not water ingress
the HT Leads look a little crazed so I'm considering changing them

My local dealer told me genuine ones cost £250 (about $500 US) which sounds a little steep.

I've noticed Magnecors make some but there's something odd about the dizzy cap end.
Has anyone here fitted the Magnecors leads
or
does anyone know of another supplier
or someone who can make up a set of HT leads to a suitable quality ?

I have a set of unused HT leads - cannot remember where they are from but they are silicon or something, I will take a look at them . I ordered them from the US - and dizzy bu%%er that I am - I bought them for the 3,8, which off course does not use leads.
So I will take a look and let you know what they are, tomorrow. Ok?

Regards

J

Re: E34 M5 HT Leads

Tomorrow would be fine.

If they have a part number on them I'll be able to double check they'll be right for me.

Cheers
