Re: water pump problem

£164 incl. from BMW
This is a exchange unit, takes 4-5 days to order.
there is no gasket in the pack, so order this at the same time.

If you order one from germany over the internet:

A NEW Water pump is around £120 incl. postage.
and includes the gasket.

regards

Actually you will also need a VERY thin wrench to take off the fan coupling nut. You can get away without the spanner ( BMW tool 11 5 030)if you have a couple of box end wrenches but if you can get one for cheap it would make the job faster. If you are doing this yourself do not forget the gasket and to get new bolts as some of the old ones on mine were a bit rusted. You also might as well change the belts at this time as they are all going to have to be removed. Hope this helps

Regards,
Wyl
