Wood Trim

This might be a stupid question, but is the wood trim in our cars real or plastic? I was thinking of restaining them a diffeerent color if they are real wood.

In the green LE, the 'Birds Eye Maple' is aluminium trim coated in laminate, designed to look like wood. I presume the other cars are the same.

That sounds like a line from the Simpsons when the film crew arrived in springfield. 'we don't use horses, we use zebras that look like horses'.
