rear springs interchangeable?

Have decided to stick with EDC and replace the rears for now.Would still like to stiffen up the springs though.Would it be reasonable to consider replacing stock springs with those from the M5 touring? They are a difft. part number;I assume they're stiffer, possibly (and unwanted)taller also?Any thoughts or suggestions always appreciated.
