Rear windscreen demister packed up - ideas?
Hi,

The rear demister has stopped working. The light comes on on the button, but nothing. OBC doesn`t report it.

I`ve looked in the fusebox in the engine bay, there does not appear to be a dedicated fuse for it there.

I`ve had little time to hunt further.



Are the fuses/relays/lil box'o'tricks which control it somewhere else in the car, like under the rear seats? I`d prefer to change a fuse first!!!


If not, where can I stick a multimeter or look for the connections to help?

The rear demister is powered via 30A fuse #35 and relay K13 (both under the rear seat in the distribution box).

Fuse 35 doesn't protect anything other than the rear demister.

My fuse for this was gone when I bought the car.

Same thing happened to me, it was the fuse under the rear seat.
