Winkelhock edition M5 seatbelts?

I saw a guy with an e36 M3 who had red seatbelts with "bmw motorsport" printed on them. From a search here, I've learned that they were part of a limited edition e34 M5 known as the Winkelhock edition. This M3 owner found them for sale on bimmerforums, from some guy, who bought them from some guy etc. Anyone out there have an idea how i could find a part number for these? They'd look great in my M5!
thanks for any leads...
Mike

Re: Winkelhock edition M5 seatbelts?

If it is the BMW Motorsport print on it would be the "20 Jahre Motorsport" M5s seatbelts because the Winkelhock seatbelts had no prints on it. They were sold as an Individual option for both the E34 M5 and the E36 M3 and probably others too, if you get a VIN on one of these cars you might be able to order new ones from BMW. If the seatbelts from a '94 M5 fits your E39 I have a VIN you can use. I think there is a german company selling red seatbelts too, but it is not the original ones from BMW, very similar though.

Hi, i think i probably can help with some numbers i found in the german e34 M5 board (->www.e34m5.de), but these are seatbelts for the e34 M5, so far i dont know if the e34 seatbelts fit in the e39...

Gurt vorne links = seatbelt driver left front

  • 72 11 2 256 651

Gurt vorne rechts = seatbelt right front

  • 72 11 2 256 652

Gurt hinten (2x) = seatbelts rear left and right

    72 11 2 250 581
    Regards Andy
