7200 rpm

many aftermarket chips have moved the limiter up to 7500-7600 rom.

some of them will sell a the chip, reprogrammed back to original rpm redline, if you request.

Try to keep her safely below 7300 rpm (it's better for the motor)

Open the DME and locate the chip, and there should be a label on it identifying who made it. If you don't have a stock rev. limit, I suggest you get a chip with one or your angine life will be greatly shortened if you rev. it over 7250 often. Your engine may experience crank failure once in the 7500 rpm range if it has all stock parts due to torsional vibration of the crank.

Here are some articles on torsional vibration. Basically, it causes crankshaft failure. And yes if you take care not to rev over 7200 you should be OK. (or get one of my chips)
