license plate cover between bumper impact strips

I have a euro-plate for my US e34.

Currently, there is a cover on the front bumper that is covering the mounting points for the front license plate. I.e., there is no front license plate, nor is there an opening between the bumper impact strips for one.

From other pics I have seen, it appears as if there is a different cover that is available fits between the bumper impact strips, yet allows for a front license plate.

Does anyone know the part # for this cover?

Re: license plate cover between bumper impact strips

From what I can make out on the ETK diagrams, all I can find is the recess bit where the number plate fastens. It's black same as the bumper inserts and has cutouts and set holes for you to screw on the wide GB type number plate.

Its called a "Grid" on the CD and is part 51 118 148 821

Though you should check with the dealer that thats correct and that you don't need other little clips and stuff.

Happy Hunting
Mark
