Does anyone have the part number for the black tweeter units that sit where the door mirrors fasten on the doors ?

I don't have these on my car, and they are not obvious, to me anyway, on the ETK.

I have this thought that it might sharpen up the hi-fi with them fitted.

Any ideas of another source other than the dealer ?

The ones on the E32 7 Series look the same, but I can't be sure.

Mark, what about diagram 65_0136, items 15, 16 and 17 for the speaker and trim?

65 13 1 384 805 and 806 - Trim
65 13 8 360 239 and 240 - Speaker

Left and Right respectively.

If these are the right bits, it's £40 inc VAT per speaker

and £37 inc VAT for the trim. No doubt there are some clips and screws too.

Thats good !! You passed the test !! Just wondered if someone else could find it. Some mad fools may have been in interior trim, and gone round and round for ages. I wouldn't be that daft - obviously....much !!! Funny.....stupid ETK !!

If you are patient enough you can almost certainly find the speakers and trim on EBAY. They are the same for all model E34's so just wait for someone to start listing a E34 that's being parted out and contact them.
