Silly question: How many engine mounts for the E34 M5?
Is it two or four?
I'm talking about these things:

There are two (2) of them.

where can I find replacements? Do people typically replace these with OEM or upgrade to a poly? I am looking to do all my engine and trans mounts.
Who carries these?

Heh, I know its you Jason. I do not have any experience with urethane mounts for hte E34 M5...I dont know if they even exist. UUC might be the best bet? Or BMP?

I don't think I would ever use poly enginemounts in a road car. I just replace them every 2-3 years.
The e30 has 1 stronger mount (on the heavy side) and you wouldn't believe the amount of harshness it transmits!

So if polys are too stiff, what about an oem upgrade?

Upgrade how? Upgrade why??? They only hold the engine in place, there's no performance gains....
If you want to reduce vibration you can fit E39 vacuum operated mounts from a diesel
