Throwing Star (cont) & Tow hook cover

Have ordered & rec'd stock 17X8 front and 17X9 rear wheels (from Germany off e-bay). Much thanks for the input from the group. Going to give Yoko's
a try. Will try to sell chromed ones (4 @ 17X8) which came with the car.
The four bought cost me $1,000 delivered, so should net out OK.

Of the remaining taboos I have with the car, the front passenger side tow hook cover seems to be the only "mind-bender" out of the ordinary.

I've attached Dominick Frey's (from Sweeden) front end as they are the same.
I've repeatedly gotten part #51112 232 632 as the answer, but part is 2-3 in.
too narrow. My VIN #WBSHD9312MBK05970. (Hit a jackrabbit @ 80 mph in the desert driving from California to St. Louis)

Any ideas?

Re: Throwing Star (cont) & Tow hook cover

Oh forgot, the outside width dimension should be ~8.75 in.

Re: Throwing Star (cont) & Tow hook cover

Cracked the nut! My Vin was an NA vin and Part needed was consistent with a european front end made through 1990. Since my car was made in Jan '91,
I'm wondering if they didn't use an "old" front end for runnout of parts. No matter, had part flown in from europe and it's the right one! Dominik Frey, your VIN led me to the right part! Thanks.
