Center console (feel so lucky, lucky, lucky)

Hi!
Just have to brag...
I managed to find the rear part of the center console (around the handbrake handle) Trimmed with grey leather on a cardemolition company and it only costs 110e (new part 270e Without leather) .
On top of all its in correct colour (hellgrau).
Now I can replace the useles old telefone with a Console without the telephone(no network provided for the system anymore).

Even found 6speed car front brake calipers on another scrapyard(from a M5 touring 94b).
If I want to swap to floating discs itīs necessary to change the calipers also, ainīt it so????
Donīt know the price for the calipers though..... Whatīs reasonable price????

DrSakkle:

I'm soooo jealous! I've been trying to figure out what to do with the leather covered center console in my car. The phone is gone and there is an ugly hole with no leather covering. If you come across any other opportunities like this in black please let me know.

SH!t!!!!!
I just called to the scrapper just to make sure that the part IS covered with leather. I asked the gyu go in to the storage area and check the part.....and guess what?
It is not a leather console. The car had grey leather so they had just assumed that the console is also in leather. But NOT.
Just lucky that I didnīt trust his word but asked him to check it BEFORE he sends it.
Well the hunt is still on....

Hej DrSakke,
what's the VIN of that 94 6-speed M5touring you took the brake-calibers from ??
the hole in the console = does not the 'casset-holder-box-option'
fit in their ??, the box shud be available in any colour, I had one of these in my 'light-grey-leather-interior' 525itouring with 'Exklusiv-Paket'
