The gong that supplies that delightful sound when a message arrives on the dash e.g. ?lights on appears to have gone. I got door open then ?lights on again last night but no gong.
Mine has always worked fine. I have had that part of the apart before to replace the bowdwen cable before. So I'm not sure if the Bonger goes out or if it could be wiring sorry!!

It underneath the dashboard a little plastic grill. You have to take off the botton cover off by the steering wheel.
