Great day in Big D today and find myself driving all over with the driver's side rear window down. Got me thinking, who else prefers to drive the M5 this way? The M gets driven most often in this order:
1 - rear window down
2 - front driver window down
3 - neither - leave the air on and crank the tunes!
If it isn`t raining, then 90% of the time all windows down and sunroof open.
If it`s chilly, then just the sunroof open.
If it`s a long journey in the middle of winter, then heater on full, button up well, and everything wound down, normally down the motorway in the middle of the night!!
My M5 has no radio at all !!! Good thing there`s a symphony under the bonnet.
Ivan.

To me it depends on the car. My old E39 and my Jetta, windows up and AC on, till I hit a few fun turns, or if I was along a wall in the '28 to hear the engine. If its a rough car, windows down. My old gti was loud, stiff ride, lots of vibration, and the windows down seemed to compliment that aura. The best way, however, is still topless if you want a free feeling, but I heard the M5 cabrio didn't pan out
