Automotive Concepts Inc.

Does anyone have contact information for Automotive Concepts Inc. in North Miami, FL? They were the importer of my car and I would like to see if they can verify mileage for me when the car was imported. And, also determine if the can give me any other history.

They imported my car aswell. Their # is 305-893-1950. Good luck getting anything from them. I have nothing nice to say about them so I'll stop here.

Great! Steven, Thanks for the number. I'll try them on Monday. I tried getting a number from information but was unsuccessful and figured that maybe they were out of business. As you have probably read from some of my posts I also don't have great respect for them but I don't know if they are to blame or Juergen at Eagle Imex.

I'll let you know if I'm able to figure anything out.

Regards, John Z

Just had a very enjoyable conversation with Sylvia Wahab at Automotive Concepts Inc. She said my car was imported from Germany at Jacksonville, FL in October of 2001. It had 49,965 kilometers on the odometer (31,047 miles). The parties that the car was being imported for, were not able to come up with the fees and so the car was not legalized until shortly before I purchased it from Eagle Imax in December of 02. Sylvia is faxing me all of the import documentation that I never received including a guarantee for the work that they had to do to federalize the car. She was not able to tell me anything about the origin of the car in Germany.

Regards, John Z

One more follow up message here. Sylvia Wahab did send me all the import documents for my car including a copy of a 5 year limited warranty for the emission work that was done on the car. Automotive Concepts also operates under the name AMC. A couple other interesting tidbits. The car sat in quarrantine for over a year in a Miami warehouse and it was released to a company named Cars & More Inc in Fort Lauderdale just before I acquired it. So I do not know how Eagle Imax got in the picture which is the company that I wrote my check to.

Regards, John Z.
