Windshield washer nozzles

Has anyone tried taking apart and cleaning their washer nozzles? My passenger side nozzles are completely blocked and the old pin trick is simply not doing anything. It looks like it may be one of those fairly easy but huge PITA things to do.

I took one apart the other day - it all went back easily enough, though you need to make sure that you don't lose any small parts.

But... I couldn't unblock it properly and the one of the two nozzles that had worked Ok before seemed to have got worse from all the fiddling.

In the end a new heated nozzle from the dealer @£21 seemed a bargain!

Regards

Sam

hi there

The windscren washer jets are cliped in to bonnet but to remove them you have remove sound deadning pad under top par of the bonnet to remove the washer pipe and unclip the electric plugs if the washer jets are heated.

it quite posible that scale has built inside the washer jets and blocked them, you could try removing them and soaking them in descaler liquid for a couple of hours, if you cant find descaler, you can use vinegar that works prety well too.

the use compressed air to clear out any debri inside them.
