how many of you have the 1995 3.8l with EWS and a 32 pin chip?

I'm just trying to gauge the interest in a performance chip for this model. I've developed one and it's now undergoing field testing here in Toronto. The owner (Will Zaraska ) will also be testing it at Mosport Racetrack in about a month.

Thanks

Mark

Mark

I am interested. I was the one from Dallas who corresponded on this a couple months ago. My car is a Feb 95 build with EWS. I am not sure of the number of pins as its been a long time since I first got the car and checked it for stock chip (which it has).

Hi there

i would be interested in a performance chip for my 1995 M5, what i dont know is wether it has a 32 pin chip, where do I look to find out?.

EWS ? antitheft device by means of coded keys ( ie keys with chips inside the keys ), if so my car has coded keys.

Regards

I can't imagine that the ECU has anything to do with EWS UNLESS its the alarm inhibits it.

Reason being, my car has EWS version 2 which was fitted at the end of 1995 and generic to other models.

Regards

Mark, I have had trouble finding a chip for my '95 Touring with EWS, and would buy your chip if the testing turned out alright. (Mine is 32-pin, of course.) Let me know and I'll order one if I can.

Thanks,

Noah

Hello Noah,
I was in Germany for a week and just got back. Yes the chip I developed is working very well and has been tested on a few Mosport track days.

I just noticed you sent me an email... I respond to that.
