When doing the Calais to Rome Memorial Run,
i filled up in Calais, the car took about 240 liters!
And that was with 20-30 liters left in the tank.
The attendent did'nt even lift an eye, when i payed Eur 242,- for a fill-up.
Ok i was "cheating" a bit, i had hooked up three
60 liter tanks in the trunk, and were thinking i could go to Rome with no fuel stops.
The cops did not like this setup at all, but thats another story

Prices here in the states have shot up over the last two weeks (it's up to $1.83/gal for ExxonMobil 93 here in Houston) but you Euros are getting raped (what else is new, right? 
).
