Hi,

Where is the speaker that makes the "GONG" noise that signals an OBC error.

I need to unplug or disable it temporarily.

My hearing is not too good one side, so I can`t home in on where the sound comes from. (no stereo detection)

Hi Ivan,

The speaker that makes the "gong" noise is in the trim panel under the dashboard on the drivers side. If you look just above the pedals you should see that there are a number of holes in the trim (this is how the sound gets through the trim). You will need to remove the kick panel to the right to be able to remove the lower trim panel.

I put a strip of duct tape over it, now it's much more tolerable. Just remember you probably won't hear at speed so check the cluster every so often.
