Hey M5 Powered, tell me more about the M5 l. e.

Hey M5 Powered, could you tell me more about the M5 limited edition? Did you say something that football players and bad drivers mainly bought the last 50 E34 M5s?

What do you primarily use your M5 for? Weekend car, garage queen, trackday monster, or a daily driver?

Thanks!

Hi guys, sorry for my lack of response, been in the US of A touring round Floridia (2500Miles) and my bmwm5 account has been playing up! Still in all that time I only saw two E34 535's!

Rick, please check back through previous LE posts as I've answered this more fully elsewhere. Will provide the link when less jet lagged. Essentially the LE was the last of the run whereby some unique options were added to 50 cars while the buyer got charged £60K in the process.

Mmm-five, will be at snetterton (Norfolk) in Loti. Finally managed to sort out everything. You thinking of going by any chance? In addition, I fancy a trip out in the superlight Nov / Dec time if your up for this?

Gustav...got your message, am seeing the laywers on the 17th aug so will let you know what they have to say. Please drop me a note as to what the current status with BMW is?

Ivan, Dewitt, sorry for this rambling post...please move or delete it later. Having difficulty posting owing to login issues.

regards

M5 Powered,

I hav just finished negotiating with Jonny at Bookatrack to purchase £2k worth of Caterham hire and trackdays at a nice discount.

The usual cost is £500 for the Cat and £100-£180 for the track day.

I have been offered 5 track days with Cat hire for £2k - i.e. £400 a day!

I've just changed contracts and am hoping to find out how much better/worse off I am financially so will know more in a week or two.

Unfortunately this new contract means I will be limited to weekend events unless I am willing to lose £300 per day!

I'm probably going to be doing Anglesey, Elvington and Hethel though and maybe a Cadwell, Donnington or Mallory Park as well - you're welcome to split the cost if you want to share the Cat on any day!

My mind is split at the moment on either a G5, a respray or some Caterham fun.

To be honest I will probably end up with a G5 and the Caterham fun days - but if I go for the dual 2ghz G5 that means less Caterham days, and if I get the 1.6ghz G5 then I can do more Caterham days . . . . decisions, decisions. However, if you do share the odd Caterham day, then that lets me do both.

If you are getting some G5s for business use (and can get me one ex VAT ) then I would be seriously interested.
