Strut Tower Bar

I've got a 1991 vintage car with Dinan goodies and want to match the front strut tower bar. It's not in production anymore and I've searched high and low. If anyone has one for sale or knows of one for sale, please contact me directly at: GTSR8CR@juno.com

On the flip side, my Racing Dynamics bar is up for sale on EBay:

Thanks.

Find me one too. Did you not like the RD bar? I was thinking about getting one for my car. There just aren't many Dinan bars out there. I've had a few local guys say that Ireland Engineering has made some nice custom bars for guys with the E34M5. I'm going to talk to them and get $ info. I'll let you know.

RD vs. Ireland

The RD bar is nice, but I don't like the stamped mounts. I want something that is machined instead. I've spoken to Jeff already at Ireland and his bar is in the upper $200s, but the unit is pretty nice as well, with machined mounts. If I can't find a Dinan bar, I'll be getting the Ireland bar, most likely.

Let me know if you get the Ireland bar, and how you like it. I'll be doing some more work to my car in a few weeks (after I recover from the Dinan stuff -yikes) I'll keep on the lookout for Dinan stuff for us too.

Just got the Ireland bar. They have one left in stock. Dinan said if I bought fifty they'd make some cause they still have the jigs. I just couldn't swing that. I'll post some pics of it soon.

I what manner does it not fit.

I got the Ireland bar and it fits fine (although it rubs on the inlet manifold and rests on the service tool plug!

As I was involved with the Ireland group buy last year, I'm wondering if any others had fitment problems. Even if yours has no problems, I would like to know how much clearance your bar has from the intake manifold.

you can also email direct: mywong23@yahoo.com
