Hi there
First to ask - Can I put a flywheel from 3.6 on 3.8 engine and what is the difference
Please post me info about clutch and flywheel upgrade on 3.8 M5 engine post links if you have
Thanks
the 3.8 uses a dual mass flywheel which is very heavy by comparison to a solid flywheel, in addition a solid flywheey can be lightened even further by machining material away to make it lighter, this will improve throttle response and make the car accelerate quicker in the lower gears provided you have the traction available.
i am not sure but i believe that the 3.6 uses a solid a flywheel and both engines use the same clutch kit.
