Donnington

Is anybody on this forum going to Donnington in October for the indoor BMW show?
It was 'ok' last year, hopefully this year will show a marked improvement......................but I thought I'd make the trip anyhow.

I've been toying with the idea !! I'll have to check the dates. I went with my 735i about 4 years ago. It was pretty good. There was a field just allocated for parking BMW's. Munich Legends were there as well....

Does it last for 2 days or just 1 ? I can't remember. I'll check for more details and update this post. I've only got to travel from Chesterfield or Stoke, so it's no great journey.......

All the best
Mark

Hi Andy G

Yes, I've agreed for my M5 Touring to go on the one of the stands. Hopefully see you there.

It'd be nice to go and show off my freshly restored & rebuilt E30 325i Sport.

Assuming I have it back together by then

What date is it on?

Cheers,
Bryn.

Thanks to Google, I find that the show is Sunday 27th October.

I shall be there in my 1995 6 speed - Avus Blue.

All the best

Sounds like a plan

Maybe we should all try and meet on the way, ie;local service station? Could be cool to have a few E34 ///M5`s all together.

Now how good will that look

Alan,

It's a drivers club organised event, but publicised in all the BMW mags now.

A tie up will be good, on the Alpina section there is about 4 or 5 other cars going up, so a meeting point will be a good idea, plus a time. (any ideas anybody?, I'll have to search the net for a location, as I'm not sure of that part of the world )

JoniP
any details on your e23 Turbo at all, can you bring some up?
One of the Alpina members may have his 6 series Alpina on display, so hopefully it'll be a good meet!

AG

I will try to bring as much information as possible with me and some photos.

BTW she is a South African M745 fitted with the Motorsport engine and not an e23 Turbo.

Regards
