Hi ALL,

Yes some low life has deemed it necesary to steal my silver dust caps once again! Anyone know of a lockable version? I wouldn't mind but they aren't exactly exspensive to buy for god sake...!!

At times I wonder, where do these kids find places to sell these parts? And, the people who buys them ... if they are really that broke, how did they manage to afford a bimmer in the first place?

I get mine for free from my local dealer.

Alternatively you can get some that use a little allen-key-like tool to tighten them. Usually from Demon Tweeks or Halfords.

I find most of mine end up on kid's bikes. It's great when you catch them at it though - you should see the face on some of these 8-14 year olds when am 18-stone prop forward comes bounding along the path hurling abuse at them - it's the same reaction when a rabbit gets caught in your headlights.

Rabbit in the headlights??? We call it deer in the headlights in the U.S. Crazy how these sayings have different animals across the Atlantic....

We'd call it a possum in the headlights... and boy will they mess up your spoiler.
