93 Euro spec M5 3.8l 6spd f/s $14,000
Up for sale is my 93 M5 imported from Germany. I am the 4th owner, as the car was imported from a guy name Steve in Washington, D.C. then sold to another guy named Steve in Virginia and finally sold to me(Steve) which I've happily owned for 6 years. It currently has 138k miles and is in solid shape overall with need of a little maintenance... Here's a list of the car's specs and upgrades.

Standard options:
-Nurburgring Suspension package(EDC suspension with bigger sway bars)
-Buffalo wrapped leather interior including center console and sunvisors
-Motorsport mirrors with memory, tilt down(curve view) on reverse and heated glass.
-Motorsport door front door handles with heated door locks
-Auto dim rear view mirror
-Fold down rear seat center armrest with storage and ski bag
-6 disc cd changer(Not hooked up because of aftermarket radio currently installed but still have factory radio available)
-Headlight washers
-Front and rear heated seats
-Power telescoping steering column
-Telescoping rear headrest when rear passengers buckle their seat belts
-Rear motorized window sunshade(Stuck in up right position and won't go down, sounds like gears are stripped when trying to operate)
-Rear left and right side window sunshades
-Front and rear fog lights
-Rear spoiler
*This links shows all the features the car came with out the factory using the vin# BMWVin.com

Upgrades done:
-Front AP racing rotors and 6 piston calipers(Pads have 85% wear left but rotors could use replacement as they are starting to get thin)
-MK Motorsport Adjustable front strut tower bar
-Smoked ellipsoid headlights
-Red Front seat belts with black "Motorsport" wording
-Front door handles with Motorsport engraved in them
-6 spd transmission(gear ratios are perfect!)
**All of these tasteful upgrades were done in Germany before car was imported**

As for the maintenance part. I've replaced the spark plugs(from BMW) and installed a K&N drop in filter past Sept. I am a Subaru Mechanic and familiar with BMW's so I do some of the maintenance work myself. In March I brought the car to Korman Autoworks where they replaced all the bushings in the entire rear end including the subframe bushings(the rear feels solid like a rock again). I am making an appointment with a specialist in the near future to adjust the valves. I did a compression test early Nov. and recorded a healthy:
Cyl.#1 Cyl.#2 Cyl.#3 Cyl.#4 Cyl.#5 Cyl.#6
205psi 210psi 210psi 210psi 205psi 210psi

The bad which I won't be able to get to. The car could use a repaint due to a defect in paint underneath the clear coat which is hard to notice in the pictures. Its gonna need a new remote key if u want to remotely unlock the doors(I have 2 keys but only one is the keyless which no longer works). I am having a problem with the doors locking by themselves and have to unlock the door from the passenger side lock if the doors are gonna unlock.(Maybe the central locking computer)? The right rear EDC strut is on its way out. These struts are costly brand new. Maybe its best to rebuild them or change them out to a better suspension system like KW Variant coilover units. Other than that the car is in very good shape for a car going on 20 years old in a few months.

I am asking $14,000.... As I mentioned I am a Subaru Tech so interested buyers can view the car at my work place and will be able to see the car on the lift. My name is Steve, you can email me at Red99M3@msn.com

Were the federalization papers passed on to you when you purchased the car? I think BMW requires them now when you order parts for Euro cars. Do you have any pictures of the chassis or can you take some? Thank You

Beautiful car! If you were on the west coast I'm sure this car would be gone. Even so, you shouldn't have a problem selling.

If this was posted a few months ago at this price I probably would have jumped on it.

Nice M5. You sure it's "Buffalo" leather? That looks to me more like nappa leather, but I might be totally wrong.

Good luck.

What kind of rotors is the car running with AP 6 piston calipers? Just being nosy.

I don't think those seat belts are available any longer... if you find them I'd like a set though!

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I'm really not desperate to sell it but me getting married in October this year and other priorities is kinda pushing me to. So to take financial pressure off of my fiancee and I, its best for me to sell it.
