I need to apologise up front, because I may come over a little fullof myself in this post, this is not my intention, but I'm just about as pumped up as I can ever remember being about purchasing an inanimate object.
I just found a Diamondschwarz, 110k, 3.8, full grey leather interior in light grey with EDC that seems to be OK, ice cold a/c with the optional climate control panel and some sort of extended speaker pack - tweeters in the door etc. Basically, when the car was being specc'd I think the customer ticked the "trolley dash" option at his local dealers. All the keys are there (spares, masters etc), the toolkit is complete, the first aid kit is still wrapped, and spare has what looks like an original Michelin tyre. The paint isnt great, and I know these cars can present their owners with some pretty big bills and I'm ready for that, but rght now I'm pumped. The drive home was just a blast - ice cold a/c, flying around my local twisties, an AWESOME engine note and "California Girls" by Katy Perry (see below) cranking out on the wireless.

Next step is to thank Davidoli for taking me up there can checking the car out. It was great to experience his 3.8 on the way up to see it, and to discuss a wide range of topics with the great man.
We parted after a celbratory dinner in KFC- life doesnt get much better than this, folks. All this car for less than the annual depreciation on a family saloon, it's just not right - but I'll take it
