Now thats quality!

Over the last 8 and half years and 41k miles, aside from tyres and servicing, the only parts that have been replaced on my M5 are a steering linkage, and one rear damper.

And who said they were expensive to run!!

This is in accordance with my knowledge... it seems cheap to run because its this well made.

YOU DO NOT SAY THINGS LIKE THAT!!!! As a precaution to your careless tounge knock on some wood, throw some salt over your shoulder, find two magpies etc etc and never ever think that again

Its that well made maybe because the e34 M5 was hand made by BMW M technicians whilst the new e39 M5s are not.
