My first....
Hello to all!

I recently became the proud owner of a 1993 US spec M5. What an automobile! I purchased her in Loveland, Colorado and drove back to my hometown of Lenoir City, TN.

93 Calypso. That is a rare rare bird. Congrats. Is it in good shape? It passes the looks good from ten feet test so far.

Definitely a rare bird, only 5 US spec examples of that color for 1993. Congrats and enjoy the car!

Nice ride. Someone else just posted a Calypso Red with gold BBS wheels and that looked real good also. Although I prefer the turbines.

Thank you Guys!

I plan on leaving it pretty much stock, as it's a blast to drive and in great shape. I wouldn't mind installing a different steering wheel though. I saw this one at a local show, but wasn't able to chat with the owner, any idea what it's from?

That wheel looks like it has been retrimmed. E 36 M3's and many E34 M5's had that style wheel but without the fancy leather and stitching. A custom job.

I was in TN recently, and saw so few BMW's it make me sick. Too many trucks and dull US cars.
