there is a yahoo e34 m5 email group that has a lot of bay area members. THere is a bmw club meet, lots of people going, not just m5 owners, but a handful of them will be there, next weekend, i think saturday.

I'll be at the bmw cca's summer concourse in monterey on friday 8/14 with my m5, there should be a couple other local members there too.

We used to get together somewhat regularly for lunches etc, but it just hasn't happened for quite a while.

Welcome to the board!

here's a link for the monterey car stuff.
Monterey Car Week, Monterey, California, your only source for complete events schedules and local information.

and a link for the bmw cca event, registration for that closes in 2 days:
MotorsportReg.com : BMW CCA - Central California Chapter announces West Coast Summer Concours/Legends of the Autobahn (Fri 13, Aug 2010) info at Monterey-Rancho Canada Golf Course, Carmel Valley, CA 93923 (1621)

I'll be down there for a good part of the week.
