Hi Raymond.

Could we not have an 'E34 parts for sale' thread as a sticky? This would seem to address most of the issues raised in this thread.

Hi Dan,

I will take that up with Gustav and see if that doesn't conflict with forum-policy.

I'm another plus one for this- maybe a thread/sub-forum could be self-pruning or self-deleting with posts automatically getting deleted after 2 or 3 months to avoid congestion- most other forums have this facility now.

Voting again in favor changing this policy. Seems like there is a strong desire by forum members and a real need to provide a better way to help our dwindling numbers buy and sell cars and parts. As as been stated before, there are so few E34 M5 items for sale that it's a real challene sorting through the For Sale section, one that is so tedious it's easy to just quit after just a few minutes of searching. Could we at least put the issue to a vote just to see where the majority stands?

Now that one year has past since the last post on this thread I thought it was time to once again ask if the rule about posting for sale items on the board could be modified. So once again I ask:

Could we at least put the issue to a vote just to see where the majority stands?

While I agree that a dedicated For Sale/Wanted sticky in here would be good, it's not really too difficult to use the advanced search feature and select the E34 prefix is it?
