Immobilizer question/ coming to Germany

My M5 Touring came with two of the little black immobilizer sticks. One works fine the other not at all. Is there a way to program the little wands to a different car? We never had this option in the USA.

Thanks,
Greg

Wednesday morning I'll be flying into Berlin, Thursday we have a tour of The Welt in Munich planned. Then some time near Frankfurt and we're going to try and make it to the Nurburgring. Quite a bit in six days.

Whew, what a trip.

This was the only e34 M5 we saw. It's a highly modified car painted a Porsche green. It's the race teams color.

Runs on compressed gas and regular gas:

All the hydraulics are run by electric pumps:

It was very nice riding in this for 3000kms:

In six days I saw 1 e34 M5 (above), 2 e39 m5, and 1 e60 M5.

Driving home from the airport a nice black e34 M5 passed us on the highway. It was surprising that I see 10 times more M cars here than in Germany. But then again, the B12 was 120 euros a day for gas.

Nice! I would love to see the CNG tanks and how they were mounted in the back of that touring.

The tank was completely hidden. I'm not sure which kind of compressed gas they are using. The shop has their own dyno and do their own tuning. This M5 is putting out 390 hp. For the guys in Germany the shop just picked up an injector flow rate and calibration machine. They do the injectors for a few race teams around the ring. I can get their info if you want your injectors checked and cleaned.

Immobilizer sticks should still be available, I was told that eight char code (which didn't come with the used car of course) is needed for ordering. So there's two options left for me:

-order new control box + sticks
-see what's the problem with existing stick

I carefully opened it and located bad contact between the connector and PCB, after soldering it has worked flawlessy
