hi all....

....still got the 'green monster'.getting a little tired these days.
1. whining comingfrom front rh wheel...suspect wheel bearing?(best place to buy?)
2. quite a lot of 55mph wobble accelerating and breaking...bushes?(best place to buy?)
3.rear suspension is dying...will be replaced by GAZ coilovers asap.
4.looking at a black mcloth interior now....think it will look better!
5. the worst thing in my opinion!.....when i start my car,the engine after a few minutes would howl(some kind of valve?),it will go if revved a little etc.anyway, not sure but i think something gone inside mine....its an awfull ,best described as 'farting' noise!!now i do care,as it really doesnt gain me any favour in the close i live at.especially at 4am when going to work hehe!
what is this item and can i take the part from my other engine to put on here?(can i post a sound file?)

any help would be great!

ROB

5. This is just a broken line in the airpump (emissions on start up), so it is venting to the atmosphere. There was a very recent thread on it with a diagram etc. Mine sounds like a boat, it does no harm, so if it doesnt bother you much you can just leave it as is.

Ya that is what it is. Mine did the same. Replaced all the vac lines down to the smog pump as shown in the diagram, and its all gone. Sounds worse that it really is....

Hiya Steve !

Pity she isn't a lefty.....I'm seriously thinking about chucking the E60 and getting an E39 M5 ( maybe the last great manual M car )....which I hear is one of the best for everyday use.

My car "farts" too Rob.....don't mind the sound too much....maybe because my neighbours are deaf !....but because that's not the way its suppossed to be i'll fix it too. Lets know how it goes.

Cheers

Hi Erik, yeah shes gotta go now the missus has changed jobs to only a walk away so the M5 wont be used hardly in the week plus I wanna go further afield with the caravan so dont want to put unecessary pressure on the M for obvious reasons.I'm thinking of an E60. How are you and the family and ofcourse my beautiful mistress..................sorry to Rob for hijacking his thread...!!!!
