Quality Forum!

Guys and girls

I just wanted to say as a former owner of one of these incredible cars keep up the great vibe on this forum

The ownership proposition of the M5 is an aluring one and I got bitten for sure. It was my first introduction to the marque and what a way to do it. A good few months of ownership then on a trip of a lifetime to the Green Hell en convoy with similar minded enthusiasts. I still own my Lancia Delta Integrale and as great as it is the forum for this car has dwindled into handbag sessions to the point where folks are leaving because they've had enough. It's not the same fun place it used to be. I suppose it's suffering from some of the points I read recently in a thread on here because most of the 'issues' have been covered before so new members are encouraged to read those first instead of dredging up old hat stuff that's been discussed a million times before. This is difficult to manage for sure whilst maintaining interest for 'older' members and keeping new members feeling welcomed. However that is one aspect of the forum, handbag sessions and petty *****ing which brings it down in my opinion though a few voyeursitic sit back, read and have a laugh at stories unfolding is part of the rich tapestry these online discussion can bring. So enjoy your motors, enjoy the sharing of information, enjoy the trips, enjoy the meetings with others, virtual and in person!

Hope to catch up with some of the usual suspects again soon

Cheers

Rich

Yeah good post Rich - hope your doing ok without the M.
I was thinking about posting on some thread heralding the demise of the forum but given the authour of the thread his are the last I would wish to add to, given his questionable contributions in the past. So more than happy to add to this one...albeit brief.
Like you say I think the vibe on here is good and long may it continue. Activity and subjects discussed are bound to ebb and flow over time, for my part I've not driven my car in months so I dont have any stories to tell or related questions to ask at the momment, hopefully I am getting nearer to getting a couple of bit's pieces sort out in the next month or so as there only so much diesel powered driving a man can take. So for the time being I'm happy to read all the threads as they evolve and thank David, Anwar, Wout, Duncan, Sakke, Goneagain, legacy, elekta, ralph, lantz, eric, faz, richard b, raymond, midnight sun, etc, etc, etc, for recent and future contributions.

Cheers.

p.s. got a couple of koni dampers and set of h&r's for sale if anyones interested, new / unused.
