England travel question

A very good friend of mine is traveling to London. She's staying in Kensington here:Kensington Hotel London | Hotel in Kensington | Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington
She's traveling on a budget and looking for some type of internet cafe to check her e-mail. There are a quite a few members in London here. What's the best way to get online without paying the steep hotel charges? Here in the U.S. a lot of coffee shops have free internet.

Thanks

Thanks for the tips. A very good friend is taking her 18 year old son to her birthplace before he goes into the military. The trip was my high school graduation present to him.

Regards,
Greg
