What type of fluid do I put into the SLS resevoir?

It's just power steering fluid, correct? My rear SLS might be leaking...probably will be getting the BavAuto SLS Delete Kit along with RDSport Bilstein's and H&R springs.

Pentosin CHF 7.1 I believe.

I think it's written on the lid of the reservoir, if I'm not mistaken, also in the owners manual

Either Pentosin 11S (white box with green letters) or 7.1 (green box with white letters)

DO NOT INTERCHANGE THEM!

Even BMW says 'the 7.1 is the newer version of 11S' but that is nonsense.

Only use the one written on the lid of cannister as Intertia says.

Manual states that Pentosin LHM can be used if 7.1 is unavailable.

yes.

And a lot of people experience pump problems after using the wrong KIND of Pentosin

LHM (Citroën hydraulic fluid) is only for emergency use, but the system must be flushed afterwards and Pentosin put in there. Mercedes-Benz / ATE fluid also differs from viscosity to the Pentosin variants.

A good outcome!

Don't forget to monitor the fluid level for that suspected leak.
