Any supercharged M5s around?

As title really. Anyone have or know of supercharged E34 M's? Looking at Vortech / Rotrex stuff located where the air pump / AC currently lives.

Appears that kits are available for E36 Ms but nothing for E34 - any comments?

Thanks.

Hi

We have here in Finland an Opel Kadett C drifting car with E34 M5 3.6 S38B36 engine with Eaton MP112 supercharger. It has enough power and torque to move that light body .

Best Regards, Janne.

Hi - that looks pretty cool. I`ve since found another thread on here with one in a similar position. Any idea what power on this one? I don`t really want to mount it that side of the engine though. More installation work. I like the idea of a small blower mounted low on AC side of engine, even using std crank pulley if possible.....

I saw one , E34 M5, Vortech SC, air/water intake system, was kind of home made.
I saw this in Germany last year , very fast car, it did 11.4x seconds.
I took some pictures. I'll see if I can find them and post them up.
Oh it also had the old style distributor.

I have seen a supercharger kit for the E34 on the Koenig website. Try and ignore the bodykits I think they are ugly as sin. Follow this link and pick BMW then the 850 picture and scroll down to engine tuning.

Neue Seite 2

I don't know if anyone has ever fitted one or if they have ever supplied an M5 kit, but seeing as they advertise it I assume they have fitted one at least once.

Good luck,

Milo.

Promoting video

See this You Tube video from that Opel Kadett C M5 3.6 supercharged engine car:

YouTube - Mikko Viitala Drift promo video -09, extended version

He definitely knows how to drive that car. Next Season 2010 he drives that Camaro.

Best Regards, Janne.
