ebay wheels -need help

hey guys,
I'm interested in finding a set of new wheels for my newly acquired baby. I really like these deep dish wheels I found on eBay, but the listing looks a tad fishy. I haven't heard of this brand of wheel before. Maybe for the price I should look for some mint condition BBS? The take a look for yourselves, I'm curious what you guys think.

I've heard of Rondell before - they did some lovely 5 spoke deep dish wheels a few years ago.
I note the seller has avoided answering the question 'Do you have these wheels in your possession?' though , so i'd be wary. Ask him for a photo showing the wheel from an unusual angle - if he cant or wont provide one then you know he doesn't have them!

Nothing wrong with Rondell's. The guys I've heard from that have them on their BMW's have never had complaints about them. They're just not as well known as ACS, BBS, Breyton, etc.

I am a little suspect of eBay in general, especially from sellers with arbitrary sounding names. It does seem legit because he offers next day shipping in some places, but I can't bring myself to find out for sure. I wish there was a website or something, then I think I would be more inclined to commit. thanks for the advice! -asking for unique photos is a brilliant idea!

I used to run those same wheels on my Vdub till I upped the ante to a set of BBS RSGT's. Good solid wheels, look great, but heavy. The finish was good, never had any problems with bending or anything, but they're definately porkers.

On the ebay thing, I've had good results. I always use paypal, and the security is good. I just recently got burned on an M tech 2 steering wheel from a seller in germany, reported it to paypal, and they refunded my money. Hell, I even bought my M5 on ebay. Be intelligent with your purchaces and you can get some great deals.
