I think i may only need inlet cam.
ca auto is confident of supplying valves and pistons much cheaper than gen parts.

yAy!

good to read that you might be able to save the car, hopefully you'll get to enjoy the fruits of your labours.

Whislt the re-sale price of whole / working E34 M cars has dropped lot in the last 9 months, I think in the long term thier values will increase, it's not as if there are more cars being made, and, they are a desireable car with a huge reputation for being a good drive and expensive if not maintained.

When / if you get yours back together, then it will have the benefit of not being an unknown.

well thats my theory anyway.

It's a shame that one of only 139 RHD big brake M5's is being broken, but I guess this will only add to the rarity and eventually value of those that remain. And as already acknowledged here, it is your car and it has to be your call.

For the record, however, would you mind posting pics of the car and details of its VIN and spec, so that future E34 M5 nerds who keep records on such things, can know with certainty which of the 139 it was that passed on?

Thanks

This is sad news indeed .

I will take the wheels as per my previous posts and Private Messages.

Are you able to email photo's of all 5 wheels to the email address sent via the messages?
Can you please send a private message with your email address?

Regards and sympathies,

Fergus
