there are at least three people on the E34 section of this forum who've had serious engine problems recently (two in Brazil, one in London). not sure if there replacement engine deals included returning the orginal (broken) engine to the supplier, if not then maybe you can get parts from them?

pspassos, kuidog and dan kelly - there maybe others...?

Most times old vehicles are worth more as bits than they are complete - I broke my BMW K100RS as it was worth £400 as a non runner whereas I ended up with over £1000 by flogging it piece by piece.

I'm pretty sure that I've got the cams and I'll check on the valves .....definitely haven't got a piston !

Just a thought, how much would you sell the car for if you were to do that, i have most of the parts up here, sorry im not prepared to sell them. maybe it would be worthwhile for me as a project car. its bad times when a cars worth more in bits than in one piece, thats the trouble with most of the M cars, maybe it could be kept going.
