No idea what that costs are was not my offer

I could get the ducts a year ago when I changed mine from BMW in Ireland. Could check if they still have them but posting from Ireland might be an issue

Think you read to much into things

I paid just under $700 in Australia for a complete rebuild. So you can compare, a 'new' one from BMW would have been $1,400 not including the labour costs to remove and refit.

Not very cheap either way then Graeme ......

Fatz , how much are you charging for your rebuild service and approximately how long would it take ?

Presumably , the owner would have to remove their existing alternator , post it to you , wait for the rebuild and cover the cost of the return postage whilst their car remained off the road ?

I suspect MICKEYDOO81 may have got a good deal .

Keep up the good work !

D
