Easy now ..............we cant all be 20 forever! Traffic jambs can be a pain but I just put it in neutral if Im sitting still. When Im actually DRIVING the clutch is no problem at all. i will be interested to see if the pedal excursion will be shorter with the new clutch.. my baby's in for surgery today! You use Herb Chambers, Peabody or my favorite Foreign Motors West for service?

that's interesting...I've driven numerous E36 and 46 M3's and I didn't find any of them to require the heavy foot of the M5. One of the reasons that I mentioned being hesitant to change the pedal effort is that while it's heavy, so are all of the other controls (they don't call it the beast for nothing!) and they feel very well balanced. I'd hate to have everything else require a bit of force and the clutch be feathery. That'd just be weird.

Point made Roortube however as earlier post noted they dont offer an option for the original clutch plate any more. I agree with your assesment of the clutches in the later M3's
